Paul Thaler, an attorney with the Cohen Seglias law firm, offered to represent the merchants in their fight against Boston Properties while standing in front of two of the most vocal merchants, Aaron Gordon of Gordon Food Group and the proprietor of the Red Velvet Cupcakery, left, and Aaron Mervis, vice president of the Big Bowl restaurant, right. The group of merchants eventually decided to hire the Fay Law Group.
