This is Charlie. We adopted him when he was 4 years old, following the death of our previous rescue Golden at the age of 16. Soon after we adopted Charlie we moved in with my husband's father, who is elderly and was living alone and suffering from progressive dementia. Charlie fell in love with "Grandpa" and spends lots of time with him. In this photo Charlie is looking out the door to the deck, surveying the woods behind our house.
