The candidate filing period for the 2018 Reston Community Center (RCC) Board of Governors Preference Poll is open from Aug. 1 - 15.
The Board of Governors is a nine-member body responsible for overseeing the operations of RCC. All residents of Small District 5, ages 18 or older, are eligible to run for appointment to the RCC Board of Governors. This year's Preference Poll will fill three positions for three-year terms on RCC's Board of Governors.
Candidates must complete a candidacy statement during the candidate filing period in order to have their names placed on the preference poll ballot. Candidacy statements and handbooks are available online or at RCC Hunters Woods or RCC Lake Anne.

Sept. 7: Ballot Voting Begins
Sept. 10: Preference Poll Candidates Forum
Sept. 27: Deadline for mailed ballots
Sept. 28: Deadline for online or walk-in ballots
