*Pet Supplies Drive -- Monday, April 13 – Friday, May 1. Reston Town Center has teamed up with GoodDogz.org to collect supplies for organizations treating pets in need. GoodDogz.org is dedicated to educating potential dog owners on selection, care, and supporting the efforts of rescue groups. Items such as dog beds, blankets, toys, grooming products, leashes, and crates are being collected in building lobby bins in advance of the annual Pet Fiesta event on May 2. GoodDogz.org

*Northern Virginia Transportation Safety Summit -- Friday, April 24, 2015, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., Pavilion.

April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Reston Town Center and Fairfax County Police Department will host the first-ever Northern Virginia Transportation Safety Summit promoting safety among pedestrians, bicycles, motor vehicles, and Metrorail. Representatives from VDOT, Fairfax County DOT, and various transportation safety entities will provide information, answer questions, and public safety vehicles will be on display.
